A coffee a day....
After tiles, coffee is quite high on our list of favourite things here at The Little Tile Company! I've noticed, on recent visits, how the cafes have made a great job of their interiors and I love some of the wall tiles being used. I thought I'd share a few I've seen this week with you... Jamie's Italian at Gatwick Airport use a lovely mix of hexagon porcelain floor tiles and white metro brick tiles, fixed in a geometric pattern for the wall... They use retro decorated wall tiles to make a feature entrance with white crackle glaze tiles... Hate...

Introducing our new wood effect collection...
We are very happy to have 3 new tiles in our floor tile collection! We now have 3 ranges of wood effect porcelain tiles on the site, there's more to follow but we've made a start with these lovelies! To celebrate, we thought we'd sing the praises of wood effect tiles with 5 reasons why they are better than natural wood flooring (not that we're based...!) 1. A gorgeous Victorian bathroom renovation with our white metro and square monochrome tiles.
Reigate Bathroom Conversion – Victorian Black and White Floor Tiles and Victorian Inspired Wall Tiles We are delighted to finally produce a blog on the stunning Reigate bathroom conversion we have been involved in here at The Little Tile Company. This bathroom, in a period property, had been adjacent rooms consisting of an old toilet cubicle and a medium sized bathroom with an original cast iron bath. The two rooms were also located in the original house and a later extension, making conversion in to one space difficult and had the involvement of a structural engineer, architect and building control...

Patterned, Metro, Antique Crackle and Glass Tile Inspiration!
Gorgeous! Thanks to one of our lovely customers for sending us some pictures of their recently purchased plain, patterned, antique crackle and metro tiles! Their beautiful period property has recently undergone a major re-furbishment, which we were delighted to supply the wall and floor tiles for. In the shower, they have used a four blend mix from our Antique range. They have carried on that design in the rest of the room and incorporated a grey floor tile. We love the period towel radiator! Beautiful... In the second bathroom makeover, they have adopted a different style... Patterned Tiles are a popular choice...

Encaustic Tiles.
We are updating our Encaustic Tile collection here at The Little Tile Company and thought we would produce a short news blog on this theme as we get asked many questions weekly on this subject! These tiles are gorgeous, stylish and contemporary. They range from black and white to beautiful blue and green hues and other various chic colours and from simple geometric to more complex designs. What are Encaustic Tiles and what is the definition of Encaustic Tiles? ‘ENCAUSTIC’ is one of those names that some of the general public know but others don’t and it is only when someone is...
